Script
Here is the script for the PechKucha, and there's a couple things of note that I have done very different, when comparing to other classmates who have done commendable, standard presentations. I decided to write my script in the style of a mixture of: "Poetry", "Slam Poetry", and "Rap". As the Greeks were very popular for their stories, and how they wrote their poems, (and philosophy I guess). Which slowly through time, evolved and evolved, where the most popular use case of poetry is in music, and songs that are in the hip hop influence.
I on purposefully chose to do a bit of a difficult task, as I easily get bored if I am doing something I can confidently do one hundred percent. And this is a good exercise into getting my creative juices flowing, and start preparing myself for how I would execute upon this sort of monstrous idea that I have conducted.
Reflection
After doing my Pecha Kucha, I recieved feedback on how I performed. The main issues people had was the way I presented my proposal. Instead of performing the Power Point in a formal, more direct matter, I instead felt the need to style it in poetry.
I knew it was going to be difficult to execute properly, as I do not have much experience in "rapping", other than some solo endeavors years ago. Why did I chose this route? Well to try something new, and to go with the theme of the Greeks who used poetry in their literature a lot. So by emulating the way it was written back in those days, I did a basic rendition. It was not perfect nor good, but I tried at the very least. . .
The drawings, and the powerpoint slides on their own were noted to be good and charming at the very least, as one classmate noted. Of which it didn't actually take me much time to draw and doodle all 20 slides, as I have grown accustomed drawing with a mouse pointed for the past decade of using a PC. As noted on my Reflective Journal, I took massive inspiration from the children's book series: "Tom Gates". As to have the drawings look like it was scribbled onto a school desk.
Overall, I think I made my point across, as maybe next time I will not do my entire presentation in a poetry style, but rather have majority or half of it be stylised and the important bits told in a straight-forward format.
